The Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Ob-Gyn) department provides comprehensive healthcare for women, covering pregnancy, childbirth (Obstetrics), and the female reproductive system (Gynaecology). It includes specialized services like high-risk pregnancy management, IVF, cancer screening, laparoscopy, and family planning. The department typically operates with OPDs, labour rooms, and inpatient wards, ensuring care across all age groups.



Key Components and Services

Obstetrics (Pregnancy Care): Management of pregnancy, prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care, including painless labour and neonatal care.

Gynaecology (Women’s Health): Treatment for uterine conditions, menstrual disorders, fibroids, endometriosis, and PCOS.

Specialized Services: Infertility treatment (IVF, IUI, ICSI), cancer screening (colposcopy, PAP smear), and menopause care.

Surgical Interventions: Minimally invasive surgeries including laparoscopic procedures, hysteroscopic surgeries, and pelvic floor repairs.

Family Planning: Counseling and services for contraceptive methods.
